TradingView Account
Free account works for paper testing. A paid plan (Essential or higher) is required to use webhook alerts for live signal routing. tradingview.com
Your Access Credentials
Your administrator will provide your Webhook URL, TV Secret key, and Trader ID. You cannot generate these yourself — request access first.
A Brokerage Account
For paper trading: any paper account works. For live beta: IBKR or NinjaTrader with an active futures/options agreement. Options approval (Level 2) is required for PUT trades.
Create Your TradingView Account
Go to tradingview.com and create a free account. Use a professional email address — this will be your identity in the system.
- Do Click Get started — it's free on the TradingView homepage. Sign up with email (not social login) so your username is clean and identifiable.
-
Do
Choose a username that represents you — your admin will reference this to grant script access. Example:
jsmith_trader - Note For webhook alerts (live signal routing to NIGHTHAWK), you need a paid plan. The Essential plan ($14.95/mo) supports 1 active alert with webhook. The Plus plan ($29.95/mo) supports multiple simultaneous alerts.
Request Script Access
Once your TradingView account is created, contact your administrator with your TradingView username. You will be granted access to the Iron Sight scripts and issued your credentials.

Add an Iron Sight Script to Your Chart
After your admin grants access, the Iron Sight scripts will appear in your TradingView Invite-Only Scripts library. Here is how to add one to your chart.
- 1 Open TradingView and navigate to the ticker and timeframe listed on your assigned script (e.g., NASDAQ:NVDA, 5-minute for ORB-PUT).
- 2 Click the Indicators button at the top of the chart (or press /).
- 3 Select Invite-Only Scripts from the left panel. You will see the Iron Sight scripts your admin has shared with you.
- 4 Click the script name to add it to your chart. It will appear as an overlay with signal markers, ORB levels, and gap labels.
- 5 Do not change the default settings unless instructed. The parameters are pre-calibrated for the current beta configuration.
Available scripts in the beta program:
ORB-PUT-v1.5
NVDA 5-min | Opening Range Breakout short signal for same-day PUT options. Triggers on confirmed gap-down days (0.3%–5.0%).
TRNQL 8AM Sweep v3
MNQ 1-min | 8 AM range sweep continuation signal for Micro E-Mini NASDAQ futures. Requires NinjaTrader or Apex account.
BTC Accumulation Grid v1
COINBASE:BTCUSD Daily | Grid accumulation signal anchored to 200-day SMA. IBKR crypto account required.
Set Up Your Webhook Alert
This step connects your TradingView chart to the NIGHTHAWK signal engine. Each time Iron Sight fires a signal, TradingView will send it to NIGHTHAWK automatically. A paid TradingView plan is required for this step.
- 1 With the Iron Sight script on your chart, right-click anywhere on the chart and select Add Alert. Or press Alt+A.
- 2 In the alert dialog, set Condition to the Iron Sight script name and select the appropriate alert condition (e.g., "ORB Short Signal").
- 3 Set Trigger to Once Per Bar Close. Do not use "Once Per Bar" — this fires on intrabar ticks, not confirmed closes.
- 4 Under Notifications, enable Webhook URL and paste the Webhook URL provided by your admin.
- 5 Leave the Message field empty — the alert message is built into the script automatically and includes your TV_SECRET and Trader ID.
- 6 Click Create. A green bell icon will appear on your chart confirming the alert is active.
Begin Paper Trading
You are now connected. Before any live capital is deployed, all beta members paper trade to validate signal performance in your specific market conditions.
- Do Download the Live Signal Tracking Template from your admin and log every signal that fires — whether you take the trade or not. Skipped signals are valuable data too.
- Do Follow the paper trading SOP exactly: entry timing, contract selection, T1/T2 exit rules, and the 14:30 ET hard close. Discipline in paper trading = discipline in live trading.
- Do Log your VIX reading at entry for every signal. High VIX (>20) typically inflates PUT premiums — knowing this context is critical for calibrating real options P&L.
- Target Complete 5 paper trade signals. After 5 signals, your data is reviewed with the team and a go/no-go decision is made for live capital deployment.
